ABOUT US
Engineers Without Borders - UC (EWB-UC) is both a student organization at the University of Cincinnati and a chapter of EWB-USA. Our mission is to partner with communities in developing countries to implement sustainable, long-term infrastructure solutions while empowering the next generation of engineers to solve the world's toughest challenges.

Since our inception in 2004, we have completed various projects in Kenya, Tanzania, and across the United States. Our projects include the construction of a school, implementation of four unique water systems, and completion of sanitation projects. Since our Tanzanian projects began in 2015, our systems have provided over 5,200,000 gallons of drinking water. We also contribute locally through Habitat for Humanity builds, local high school projects, trash cleanups, and other initiatives. Every semester, more than 40 students learn how to become better engineers and global leaders while improving the lives of thousands of people.
